Nature and discovery

Departure in the morning for the coast to reach Andasibe;
We take National Road RN2, which leads us to Andasibe National Park;
You will be amazed by the mosaics of unique vegetation of eastern Madagascar.

On the program: visit the butterfly farm, where we will admire species of butterflies, chameleons, and crocodiles;
Our routes will be adorned with forests, mostly accompanied by the sounds of birds nesting nearby;
Arrival in Andasibe and check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Vakona Reserve and the magnificent Lemur Island;
Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we begin the visit of the park, a true treasure of nature where the Indri-Indri species can be found—one of the rarest primates in the world, existing only in Madagascar. The park is genuinely a nature reserve, home to unique fauna and flora species on the island. You will encounter mammals of all kinds, 117 bird species, 51 reptile species, 84 amphibian species, and 72 mammal species.

You will also find bats moving around in this remarkable natural environment. Andasibe Mantadia National Park contains a large number of orchid species with high endemism.
The park’s landscape offers breathtaking panoramic views, immersing you in lush natural forests.

If you want to meet Madagascar’s lemurs, Andasibe National Park is the ideal place. It will be a memorable experience to take photos with these iconic species that make the Red Island exceptional.

Picnic lunch in the park;
Return to the hotel around 3:00 PM.
In the late afternoon, we will go on a night tour to encounter the famous Mouse Lemur, the smallest lemur in Madagascar.
Overnight at the hotel.
