Upon your arrival at Ivato International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel we have carefully booked for you.
Overnight stay at the hotel
Departure to Antsirabe, "Vichy Madagascar." Along the way, discover the typical landscape of the Central Highlands, including terraced rice fields, lush green hills, and traditional red earth houses.
Along the way, we'll enjoy a short visit to the artisanal aluminum cookware workshop in Ambatolampy.
Arrival in Antsirabe and check-in at the hotel.
Visit the spa town by rickshaw: The rickshaw is the ideal means of transportation for discovering the city's cultural and historical heritage.
Visit the embroidery, gemstone cutting, and zebu horn workshops.

After breakfast, we will leave Antsirabe for Lake Tritriva, Lake Andraikiba, and the village of Manandona.
Located 17 km from Antsirabe, Lake Tritriva is best known for its legend of two lovers who committed suicide in the lake and were reincarnated as two intertwined trees. At 160 meters deep, the lake mysteriously rises during the dry season and drops during the rainy season. Perched at 1,881 meters, seen from above, the mysterious crater of the volcanic lake evokes the shape of Madagascar.
Lake Andraikiba, also rich in history and legend, was once known as a favorite weekend getaway for colonials. A peaceful place with magnificent scenery, the site is ideal for a ride in a small pedal boat or traditional pirogues.
After Lake Tritriva and Andraikiba, we continue our visit to Manandona. A stroll through this village will reveal the perfect illustration of Malagasy rural life. Traditional houses, customs and traditions, rice terraces, crafts, and cattle breeding are the main tourist attractions of this place.
Settling into the lodge, enjoy folk entertainment in the evening with the villagers (traditional music and dance).
After visiting the village of Manandona, we continue our journey to Ambositra, the capital of marquetry and wood carving.
You will have the opportunity to purchase Zafimaniry art objects as souvenirs in the workshops and specialized shops.
After our visit, we will continue our journey to Fianarantsoa, the capital of the Betsileo ethnic group.
Along the way, we will see the unique landscape of the Betsileo region, which demonstrates the ingenuity of the local population, such as the terraced rice fields and traditional red earth houses.

In the afternoon, we will begin a climb to the old town of Fianarantsoa to better understand its past and history.
We will also have the opportunity to visit the studio of the famous photographer Pierrot Men.

Our fifth day of travel will be dedicated to a day of train travel on the FCE (Fianarantsoa – East Coast) railway line to Manakara;
This rail journey immerses you in the daily life of the local population living along the FCE route;
Through the verdant Tanala forest, our short train ride will give us picturesque glimpses of the most beautiful landscapes in the southeast;
Along the way, discover a magnificent Sahambavy tea plantation, the splendid Andriamamovoka waterfall, the great white cliff, a succession of isolated villages, and a charming local population;
For a 170km journey, the train stops every 10km. Thus, with 17 stops before reaching your destination, encounters and discoveries follow one after the other;
From one village to another, the villagers offer you local products and fresh fruit;
This truly is a folklore journey not to be missed.

A canoe trip down the Pangalane Canal;
This is a day dedicated to a river cruise along the east coast of the Red Island;
During the trip, you will encounter canoes supplying the riverside villages. You will also encounter the unique aquatic landscape of the Canal. You will meet the fishermen;
Visit the essential oil production workshops;
Picnic by the Indian Ocean;
Return to Manakara towards the end of the afternoon.
Departure after breakfast for Ranomafana;
Along the way, you'll glimpse valleys covered in lush forests;
We'll take a short walk through the nearby villages to meet the Antanala ethnic group;
In the afternoon, visit the natural hot spring pool at the Ranomafana Thermal Spa;
We'll set off for a nighttime visit around sunset;
On the program, discover the small lemurs and other nocturnal species that take refuge in the park.

Departing from the hotel at 7:30 a.m., we will embark on a half-day excursion punctuated by visits and discoveries within Ranomafana National Park;
You will have the opportunity to encounter the most iconic lemur species;
This 41,601-hectare forest park is known for its therapeutic spa;
It has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site in the Antsinanana region since 2007. Like its peers, it is home to several rare and endangered species of lemurs, insects, and plants;
Lunch in Fianarantsoa;
In the afternoon, departure for Ambalavao, visit to an Antemoro papermaking workshop, made from plant fibers; visit to a wild silk weaving workshop;
Dinner and overnight stay in Ambalavao.
After breakfast, we'll leave Ambalavao and take the RN7 road to Ranohira.
Decorating the southern landscape, a sleepy little village at the foot of the great Isalo massif.
Visit the Anjà reserve, 12km south of Ambalavao, where you'll encounter your first ring-tailed lemurs.

The tenth day of our trip is dedicated to visiting the immense Isalo National Park;
During your visit to the park, you will discover the nature and dry vegetation of Isalo;
The hikes will be enhanced by the ruin-like landscape of the massif;
The park contains plant species endemic to the island and lists the medicinal plants most used in traditional healing and empirical medicine;
As for wildlife, the park is home to rare bird species, lemurs, and reptiles;
Within the park, discover the Bara and Sakalava tombs on the rocks, splendid statues sculpted by erosion, adding an unusual charm to the landscape;
To get back to the source, nature lovers can take a dip in a natural pool;
Visit the Nymphe waterfall, a black and blue pool with crystal-clear water;
Picnic in the Namaza Canyon;
Return to the hotel around 4 p.m.;
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
After breakfast, we head back to the city of Tulear;
Visit Zombitse National Park, a 2-km circuit that lasts between two and three hours;
It's suitable for all levels of walkers. You can see endemic birds, nocturnal and diurnal lemurs, the great green lizard "Phelsuma standingi," the largest chameleon in Madagascar (between May and December) which can reach 65 cm in length;
This circuit is also home to the famous wood used for making coffins, "the protorhus abrahamia" or Tsitake;
After our visit, we continue to Tulear. On the way, we see the Mahafaly tombs, adorned with funerary art and zebu horns;
You will be amazed by the succession of savannahs and grasses where you can find baobabs and lataniers;

Beach stay in Ifaty;
To end our trip in style, we'll spend three well-deserved days relaxing aboard the magnificent Ifaty lagoon;
You'll enjoy the most beautiful beach on the Ifaty coast during your beach stay;
Several activities on site: diving, snorkeling, traditional pirogue excursions and rides, fishing, relaxing, and whale safaris (paid activities must be paid on site);
